Táxi Carrara is a shoot'em up game created using the Construct game-making platform. The game follows Augustinho Carrara, a famous Brazilian character from the TV show A Grande Família, who is tired of the corrupt taxi schemes in Rio de Janeiro and decides to take action against them.
I developed the game alone within three days, fully designing it and implementing the game mechanics and sound design. To make the delivery possible with the little time I had, I used assets from free packs that were available on the web.
The game was created as a part of the "Game Design Principles" course at PUC-Rio under the guidance of Professor Werther Azevedo, who is also the creator of the game Warlock's Tower.

In the game, your main goal is to stay alive for as long as you can while earning Reputation to gain the respect of the Taxi Family. The game includes two bosses and a progressive system that rewards players for being aggressive, allowing you to regain lives by defeating enemies.
