The Midnight Village is a narrative game that was created using Bitsy, an HTML game development platform that is beginner-friendly. The game takes the player on a journey through a village that is shrouded in mystery, where everything transforms into something different during the night.
During the game's development, I was responsible for creating the plot, programming, and implementing the dialogue. The art was a collaborative effort: Gustavo Prado created the scenery, while Matheus Salles designed and animated the characters.
The game was developed as part of the "Game Design Principles" course at PUC-Rio, under the guidance of Professor Werther Azevedo, who is also the creator of the game Warlock's Tower.

The game is currently only available in Brazilian Portuguese. It provides players with an immersive experience featuring over 8 different endings, a vast open-world village that allows for exploration and discovery, and multiple characters, each with a range of dialogue options.
